Frequently Asked Questions
Answers for families seeking homeschool enrichment, educational support, and parent-directed learning guidance.

Your Questions, Answered
If you’re wondering how Parakletos Family Solutions can support your family, you’re not alone. Here are some of the most common questions parents ask.
Do I need to be homeschooling to work with you?
No. I support both homeschool families and families with children in traditional school.
Do you replace the parent or teacher?
Not at all. My role is to come alongside — to support, guide, and strengthen what’s already in place.
Do you have a teaching degree?
I don’t come with a traditional education degree, but I bring over eight years of hands-on homeschooling experience, real-life application, and a deep understanding of what families actually need.
Is this faith-based?
My work is rooted in faith, but my services are welcoming and supportive to all families.
What ages do you serve?
Educational support and homeschool enrichment services are available for students from VPK through 8th grade. Financial literacy and select enrichment opportunities are available for high school homeschool and PEP students.
How do I know which service is right for my family?
You don’t have to have it all figured out. During a consultation, we’ll talk through your child’s needs, your goals, and your family’s rhythm to determine the best support option.

Do you follow a specific curriculum?
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I help families work with curriculum they already use or guide them in choosing options that best fit their child’s learning style and family values.
How many students are in the small-group enrichment sessions?
Small-group enrichment sessions are intentionally kept small to encourage collaboration, guided support, and a peaceful learning environment that supports individualized learning needs.
Can working parents use your services?
My role is to provide structured educational support and homeschool enrichment that complements parent-directed education during the week.
Do you offer flexible scheduling?
Yes. Parent consultation and educational support services may offer flexible scheduling options based on availability. Our Home Education Instructional Program and enrichment services are provided in person.
Is this service only for students who are struggling academically?
Services are designed to support students with a variety of educational needs, including those who benefit from additional structure, guided academic support, enrichment opportunities, or encouragement in their learning journey.
